Hi Card
Cover the card front and back with Kindred Spirits tan patterned/lace paper. Tear the right edge off a 1 1/4”x6½” Kindred Spirits tan script paper and ink the torn edge. Glue along the card fold. Open the card and lay flat. Align the center of the double butterfly cutting die over the card’s center fold, securing with stencil tape to keep it from moving, and die cut.
Inside: Tear the top edge of a 1¾”x10” strip of Kindred Spirits tan patterned/lace paper and ink the torn edge. Glue across the card bottom edge, trimming the sides even with the card. Die cut two solid butterfly shapes from brown, two swirl butterfly shapes from pink and two swirl butterflies from brown floral papers. Fold the pink and brown floral swirl butterfly shapes in half, layer and glue the centers only to the center of the solid brown butterflies. Punch a 1/16” hole in each and secure with a small pink Kindred Spirits Embellies™ brad. Glue a brown layered butterfly to the center of each butterfly that has been die cut into the card. Pull the wings forward to stand upright. Place “Happy Birthday” Gold Greetings Dazzles™ along the bottom right and foam tape a purple Kindred Spirits Embellies™ flower to the border as shown.
Valley fold the card in half and fold the the die cut shapes so they pivot to the front and back as shown. Place Design Tool Kit #2 scalloped edge along the right edge of the card front. Trace the shape and then cut through both layers of your card. Apply brown ink to the front and back of the card edges. Foam tape a Kindred Spirits Embellies™ tag to the front lower right corner. Place “Hi” Gold Greetings Dazzles™ on the tag. Die cut six tiny butterflies from mauve, brown, and pink Kindred Spirits papers and ink the edges brown. Glue to the card front as shown.
