Rose Gold Expanding Card
For the card: Place the 12"x12" Rose Gold foiled stars paper on the table printed side down and fold in half horizontally. Unfold it, then fold it in half vertically. Unfold it and place it printed side up. Fold it in half diagonally. Unfold it and place it printed side down again so the diagonal fold runs from the upper right to the lower left. Bring the upper left square section down over the lower right square section, forcing the diagonal folds inward and closing the card.
For the front: Cut 5"x7" Rose Gold brown shimmer cardstock and emboss it in the folder. Trim it to 6"x4½", then mat the two long edges on Rose Gold foil cardstock with 1/8" borders. Wrap a 6" length of ½" wide grosgrain ribbon over the panel 1 3/8" from the left edge, securing the ends on the back. Foam tape the panel across the center front.
Knot a 5" grosgrain ribbon length and glue it to the first ribbon, 1" from the panel’s upper edge. Die cut a 3"x1¾" label from Rose Gold foiled cardstock and glue it slightly off-center as shown. Place brown “I love you” Dazzles™ on the label.
Die cut one large rose, one small rose, and two leaves from Rose Gold foil cardstock. Glue the rose die-cuts to Rose Gold rose shimmer cardstock and the leaves to Rose Gold dotted stripes paper. Trim along the edges of the die cuts. Glue the leaves and foam tape the roses to the front as shown. Glue sequins randomly over the brown background.
For the inside: Cut 5"x5" Rose Gold dotted stripes and starburst roses papers. Mat each on Rose Gold brown shimmer cardstock with ¼" borders. Glue the striped panel centered on the upper left square section and the rose panel on the lower right section. Cut two 5½"x5½" Rose Gold diamonds papers, then cut each in half diagonally from the upper right corner to the lower left. Glue the pieces centered on the triangular sections as shown.
Die cut two large roses, two small roses, and four leaves from Rose Gold glitter cardstock. Back the roses with rose shimmer cardstock and the leaves with brown shimmer cardstock. Glue a large rose, a small rose, and two leaves on the upper left square as shown.
