Birdcage Chipboard Album
Instructions:
1. For the album front: Press the VersaMark™ ink pad over the front of the cage page, completely covering it with ink. Cover it with silver sparkle embossing powder, then tap off the excess and use the heat gun to melt the remaining powder. Repeat if necessary. Place the page face down on the craft mat and spray it with the white ink to cover it. Let the page dry.
2. For the second page: Use the ink pads to dab ink over the bird/flower page, coloring the leaves and vines with Khaki, the flowers with Hot Pink, the birds with Royal Blue, and the branch with Cocoa Brown. Color the frame with Khaki. Let the page dry, then spritz it lightly with the white ink spray. When the page is completely dry, emboss it with clear embossing powder. Spray paint the back with white as for the front.
3. For the third page front: Trace the page onto the Meadow Blooms blue cardstock, utilizing the text area, and cut it out. Trace the holes onto the cardstock and punch them out. Use a blender brush to ink the edges with Royal Blue, then glue the cardstock to the page.
4. For the third page back: Trace and cut the page from Meadow Blooms yellow cardstock, punch the holes, and ink the edges with Mustard. Place two gold pearl thin line Dazzles™ across the cardstock near the bottom, trimming the excess. Glue the cardstock to the page. Cut out the three Meadow Blooms cutouts shown and glue to the page, overlapping them as shown. Place three gold pearl butterflies on the page as shown, then place a yellow adhesive dot on each.
5. For the fourth page front: Trace and cut the page from Meadow Blooms pink bird cardstock, punch the holes, and ink the edges with Hot Pink. Add two pink pearl thin line Dazzles™ near the bottom, then glue the cardstock to the page front. Cut out the “you are appreciated” cutout and glue it and the “love you” tag die-cut to the page as shown. Knot a pink glimmer ribbon, trim the ends, and glue it to the tag hole. Place four pink butterfly Dazzles™ as shown, then place a pink adhesive dot on each.
6. For the fourth page back: Trace and cut the page from Meadow Blooms white sprigs cardstock, punch the holes, and ink the edges with Blush. Add two pastel blue thin line Dazzles™ near the bottom, then glue the cardstock to the page back.
7. Cut out the large yellow rose cutout and mat it on light blue cardstock with ⅛" borders. Glue it centered on the page. Cut out the “blessed & happy” tag, then glue the two die-cuts shown and foam tape the sentiment to the page as shown. Knot a yellow glimmer ribbon, trim the ends, and glue it to the tag hole. Place four blue butterfly Dazzles™ on the page as shown, then place a yellow adhesive dot on each.
8. For the fifth page: Trace and cut the page from Meadow Blooms green border cardstock with the border along the left side. Punch the holes and ink the edges with Khaki. Place two gold pearl thin line Dazzles™ vertically, just inside the holes, and trim the ends. Glue the cardstock to the page.
9. Cut out the two sentiment cutouts shown and glue both to the page as shown. Foam tape the small butterfly circle die-cut at the lower right. Place a gold pearl butterfly Dazzles™ overlapping both cutouts as shown, then place yellow adhesive dots on the three butterflies.
10. For the back: Trace and cut the page from Meadow Blooms pink cardstock with flowers in the lower left corner. Punch the holes and ink the edges with Hot Pink, then glue the cardstock to the back. Cut out the large pink cutout and mat it on pink cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue it to the page center. Place three pink butterfly Dazzles™ on the back as shown, then place a gold pearl jewel Dazzles™ on each.
11. Finishing: Stack the pages in order, then thread blue glimmer ribbon through each set of holes and knot. Trim the ends. Add a personal message on the space at the back, then sign your album “card.”
