Thank You Card
Painted Backgrounds: I created 4 separate backgrounds for this card using the Creative Palette. First drip a small amount of Peeled Paint and Antiqued Bronze paint onto the Creative Palette and roll out with the brayer. Comb some areas using the teeth of the hair comb and rinse your comb off. Cover Palette with white cardstock and smooth hands over the paper. Peel back paper and let dry. Without cleaning the palette drip Seedless Preserves and Antiqued Bronze Distress Paints and roll with brayer, cover with white cardstock and peel off. Without cleaning palette drip Spun Sugar Distress Paint, roll out and cover with paper. Peel off and let dry. For the last background, without cleaning palette, drip Spun Sugar, Antique Bronze and add smaller amount of Seedless Preserves. Roll out with brayer and drag comb across the palette. Cover with white cardstock and peel off let dry.
Once painted backgrounds are completely dry, stamp with VersaMark™ 8 leaves on the green background; 1 large blossom, 1 medium blossom, 2 small blossoms, and 1 butterfly from purple; 1 medium blossom from pink/bronze; and 1 medium blossom, 1 small blossom, and 1 butterfly from the pink combed background. Die cut the images.
Trace the Side Step Card front and inside panels onto Kindred Spirits tan/lace paper with the lace along the bottom edges. Ink the edges brown and glue the front panel tan/lace paper to the card. Cut the side step panels from Kindred Spirits brown dot paper, ink the edges, and glue to the steps.
Foam tape a small purple blossom to the large blossom and foam tape to the card front with medium combed pink blossom below and to the right. Glue 5 leaves among the blossoms. Foam tape the butterflies to the card as shown. Place “Thank You” Gold Tiny Words & Phases Dazzles™ on the first step. Foam tape one small purple blossom to the first step and one medium pink/bronze blossom with leaves to the back step as shown.
Inside: Glue the tan/lace paper inside panel to the card and foam tape the two remaining flowers and leaves as shown. Place “You’re The Best” Gold Tiny Words & Phrases Dazzles™ as shown. Apply purple and gold glitter glue to the flower centers and butterfly bodies. Use your fingertip to apply a small amount of gold glitter glue to the butterfly wings and the leaves. Let dry.
