Tree Reflection Card
For the front of the card: Place card with fold on the left. Cover the card with square patterned paper. Cut background paper to 4 ¾”x3” and position vertically. Stamp tree on upper half of the paper. Re-ink and stamp tree on acetate film. Carefully place image ink side down on the paper to create a “reflection”. Hold acetate in place firmly and rub to transfer ink to the paper. Remove acetate and discard.
Ink Roll-it with Broken China ink and roll over reflection image to create a rippled water effect. Line up VersaMark pad and ink directly on paper in the water section below the tree and covering the reflection. Emboss with clear embossing powder. Sponge Pumice Stone ink around edges and mat with green and dark plum cardstock.
Lightly sponge Warm Green ink for “grass” around the base of the tree. Cut light blue cardstock to 3 ¼” x 1 ¼” and ink edges with Pumice Stone. Stamp “Just For You” with Blackberry ink. Glue to the bottom of card. Ink around edge of the entire card.
Punch tags in tan, plum and background paper. Cut the sides off the green tag to ½” wide and stamp “Love” in green. Ink around edges with Pumice Stone. Stamp heart on small tan tag in blackberry. Ink small tag with VersaMark and emboss with clear powder. Heat with heat tool and repeat with 5 or 6 layers. Immediately after the last time, stamp with heart stamp to create an indentation. May be reheated if necessary.
Punch 1/16” holes in tags, glue together and thread on twine. Tie a bow and position near the right edge of the card. Foam tape tree to the card. Embellish with heart Dazzles™.
For the inside of the card: Cut green paper to 6 ½” x 1 ½” and glue to the left edge of the card. Cut square patterned paper to 3 ½” and cut across diagonal. Glue to top right and bottom left corners of the paper. Stamp tree and “Love” with Warm Green in lower right corner and ink around the edges with Pumice Stone.
