Embossed Butterflies Happy Day Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left. Cut 5"x6½" purple cardstock and glue to the front. Cut 4 7/8"x6 3/8" Artful Watercolors purple watercolor paper and wrap twine around it twice, 1 7/8" from the bottom, gluing the ends to the back. Glue the paper centered on the front.
Cut 4¼"x6" ivory cardstock. Stamp the largest butterfly on it, angled as shown. Cover with Mauve embossing powder, tap off the excess, and heat to melt. Stamp and emboss the swirl below the butterfly with Ice Blue powder. Stamp and emboss the two small butterflies near the top as shown with Pink Fizz.
Lightly spritz the embossed cardstock with water, then place in the embossing folder. Emboss the cardstock with the embosser or die cutter as the manufacturer directs. Remove the cardstock and trim to 3 7/8"x5 3/8". Mat on purple cardstock with 1/16" borders.
Wrap jute twine around the embossed panel twice, 1 3/8" from the bottom, and glue the ends to the back. Foam tape the panel to the front, aligning the twine on the panel with the twine on the card front. Make a 6-loop jute bow and tie the center with a 4" twine. Glue to the jute on the panel, 5/8" from the panel’s right edge.
For the inside: Cut 3½"x4 7/8" Artful Watercolors purple watercolor paper and mat on purple cardstock with 1/16" borders, then on magenta cardstock with 1/8" borders. Glue centered on the inside.
Cut 4¼"x6" ivory cardstock. Stamp and emboss the swirly butterfly with Mauve embossing powder near the center top, angled left. Stamp and emboss the sentiment below the butterfly using Black embossing powder.
