Stenciled Color Burst Friendship Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left. Cut 5"x6½" Colorist red paper and glue to the front.
Cut two 5"x7" white cardstocks and place one on the craft sheet. To create a stencil, position the two butterfly shadow dies on the second cardstock as shown. Die cut the butterflies and remove from the background.
Apply repositionable adhesive around the openings in the cardstock, then place it over the first white cardstock and press firmly. Sprinkle all three pigment powders over the openings and spritz with water just until the powders and water start to blend. Remove the stencil and let the panel dry.
Trim the panel to 4 1/8"x6 1/8" and stamp the flowers and butterflies over it with Jet Black, positioned as shown. Stamp “dearest friend” with Warm Red in the upper right corner. Mat the panel on black cardstock with 1/16" borders.
Insert a black Embellie™ just right of the greeting, then fold the ribbon in half and glue behind the brad as shown. Foam tape the panel to the front, ½" from the right edge.
For the inside: Cut 4 3/8"x5½" Colorist red paper and glue to the inside, ¼" from the upper edge. Cut two 4"x5½" white cardstocks. Create a stencil with one, die cutting the small butterfly shadow as shown. Attach to the second cardstock and color as for the front panel, then remove and let the panel dry.
Trim the panel to 3½"x4 5/8" and stamp flowers and butterflies with Jet Black, positioned as shown. Mat the panel on black cardstock with 1/16" borders, then on red cardstock with 1/8" borders. Glue centered on the red paper.
