Place your card with the fold on the left. Cover the card front with Rhapsody white/black dots paper. Position the large Baroque oval outer frame and large lacy oval cutting dies nested together and use your die-cutting machine with Rhapsody red patterned paper to create one lacy die-cut (if you have a machine with a magnetic platform, simply nest them together on the magnetic surface and cover with paper; if you do not, carefully tape the pieces together on the red paper). Use the appropriate “sandwich” for your machine and run it through.
Position the red die-cut centered on the white/black dotted card front. Use the pencil to lightly trace around the top and bottom edges of the die-cut, and then remove the die-cut. Place the large inner lace cutting die only, face down on the white/black dotted paper-covered card front and align it centered inside the pencil lines. Tape in place. Open the card and place it out flat and face down on the platform of your machine. Place in the appropriate “sandwich” for your machine and run it through.
Align the red die-cut over the lacy opening on the card front and glue in place. Cut strips of striped paper and glue even with the top and bottom edges of the card. Ink the edges black. Die cut the Butterfly Boutique Sabata image with black cardstock and foam tape it centered on the red lacy oval die-cut. Cut a small center oval image with black cardstock and back on Rhapsody red patterned paper. Cut in half and glue each half on the left side of the card at top and bottom as shown.
Place the butterfly cutting die on the black die-cut, aligning it as closely as possible. Use the pencil to trace the inner butterfly shape onto the butterfly portion of the die cut. Remove the cutting die. Squeeze a small amount of Turquoise Stickles™ into each space within the pencil lines. Spread the Stickles™ out to fill the space with the tip of your knife. Add dots of Stickles™ on centers of the flowers on the die-cut. Add Stickles™ to spaces inside the small die-cut halves on the left side of the card. Let dry.
Embellish with Teal Jewel Dazzles™. Place Tiny Words & Phrases Dazzles™ “Thank You” near the top of the red die-cut. Use 1/4" wide sheer blue ribbon to tie a bow. Zot™ the bow on the black die-cut as shown.
Cover the inside with blue/black dots paper. Glue strips of striped paper even with the top and bottom edges. Die cut a Baroque large lacy oval from black cardstock as you did for the red one on the front. Repeat for a red lacy oval using the medium outer oval and the medium lacy dies. Place the black die-cut on the inside, making sure the lace openings align with the openings on the front. Glue in place. Glue the red die-cut centered on the black one. Place Dazzles™ “Life is good” and a heart centered on the red die-cut. Add Teal Jewel Dazzles™ as shown.
