Thinking of You Card
Open the Center Step Die-Cut card and place it out flat onto the platform of your cutting die machine, face up with the card front positioned at the bottom. Take the outer cutting die rectangle and align the notches with the center fold at the top of the card front. Make sure the die is also centered with equal space at each side. Tape the die into place. Turn the piece over. Create the appropriate “sandwich” for your particular machine and run it through. Remove the card from the machine.
Use the Splash ink and Mini Ink Blending Tool to ink the entire card front. Fold the die-cut area on the scored lines (bottom is a valley fold, then the next 3 are mountain folds) so it pops up.
Use the Side Patterns included with the die-cut card to trace and cut out red/black tile paper rectangles. Mat on Black Suede paper with thin borders. Glue one on each side. Cut a 6 1/4"x3/4” Mirage pink/aqua/black floral paper and mat on Black Suede with thin borders. Glue centered on the bottom of the card front.
Use the inner frame die, Mirage pink textured paper, and your die-cutting machine to create a square with decorative edges. Glue centered on the front of the pop-up as shown. Cut a “Thinking of You” die-cut from Black Suede and glue centered on the pink square.
Place Black Jewel Border Dazzles™ on the inked sides of the pop-up. Foam tape the Mirage large butterfly die-cut on the bottom left portion of the card front, overlapping the pop-up. Embellish with Black Jewel Dazzles™ as shown. Use black glimmer ribbon to tie a bow. Zot™ the bow on the right side of the card as shown.
Cut a 6 1/2"x3/4” Mirage pink/aqua/black floral paper and mat on Black Suede with thin borders. Glue centered across the inside. Die-cut a square with decorative edges from Mirage yellow textured paper and mat on Black Suede with straight thin borders. Glue centered on the paper. Glue the yellow/red/pink Mirage tag die-cut centered on the yellow paper. Glue small butterfly die-cuts as shown. Place Tiny Words & Phrases Dazzles™ “You’re the best” on the top of the tag. Decorate with Black Jewel Dazzles™ and Black Jewel Border Dazzles™ as shown.
