Best Friends Card
Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on left. Cover the front with Mirage black/dark pink pattern paper. Use the Fancy Cutaway template to trace and cut the card edge. Sand the edges. Use the Fancy Label template to cut a Mirage pink paper. Outline with the dark pink marker. Cut a Mirage black Victorian label, cutting out the middle oval. Cut a Mirage yellow Tiny Label.
Stamp the dress form on a 2”x4” white cardstock. Color as shown, and foam tape behind the oval in the Victorian Label. Outline the label and oval in brown marker. Stamp, color, and cut out the butterfly. Foam tape just above the oval. Stamp the “Best Friends” sentiment on the yellow tag. Outline the tag with the brown marker.
Glue the pink label centered on the right of the card front. Tie a small pink ribbon on the yellow tag, attaching it to the black tag. Foam tape the black tag and the yellow tag as shown. Stamp a rose above and below the yellow tag on the pink label. Color with the markers.
Card inside: Cover the inside with Mirage black paper. Round the corners. Mat a Mirage pink Fancy Label on Mirage yellow, leaving 1/8” borders. Write, or computer journal “Thank You For Being My Best Friend!” Stamp a rose on the top and bottom of the sentiment. Color with the markers.
