Card front: Cut your card to 6¼”x4½”. Place a blank card with the fold on top. Cover with Dark Purple cardstock.
Cut a 6”x4¼” white cardstock. Place the chevron stencil over it centered. Start at one end, and begin with a Grape Gelato. Scribble about 1” on the stencil. Use the Art Dauber to blend the color into the spaces of the stencil. Next use a Blueberry Gelato to color another 1” space, and blending a little over the Grape. Use the same technique to color with Lime, Lemon, Tangerine, & Red Cherry. Blending over a little of the previous color each time. Wash the stencil, and then place back over the paper this time covering the chevrons you just colored, and exposing the white. Color over the entire paper with Buttercream. Blend the color in with the Dauber. Remove the stencil and wash it again. If there are any large areas of white, you can use the dauber to blend in a little more Butter Cream. Glue to the card front.
Color a 4½”x3/4” white cardstock with Butter Cream Gelato. Mat on a Purple cardstock with 1/16” borders. Place the “Happy Birthday” Dazzles™ to the right of the paper, and foam tape ¾” from the bottom. Color a 1½”x2½” white cardstock with Butter Cream. Use the Balloon Stencil and color the balloons with Red Cherry, Blueberry, & Grape Gelatos. Draw the strings with the black pen. Zot a red bow on the strings. Mat on Purple cardstock, and Foam tape on the right edge, overlapping the Happy Birthday paper. Place a Red Dazzles™ along the bottom ¼” from the bottom. Place a Red Jewel Dazzles™ along the top border.
Card inside: Glue a 6¼”x2” purple cardstock centered. Color a 4½”x1¼” white cardstock with Butter Cream. Round the edges. Use the Grape Gelato to color the “Celebrate” stencil on the right. Use the Candle Stencil and Red Cherry, Tangerine, and Lemon to color in the candles on the left. Glue centered.
