Place your card with the fold at the top. Cover the card front with green/brown squares paper. Place the Vintage Labels template on your card with the point of the 7”x9” label is centered 1/4” from the bottom. Trace around the 7”x9” shape and cut along the traced line.
Place the template on the back of Sienna suede paper and trace both the 5”x6 1/2” and the 4”x5” shapes together. Cut along the outside line, then use an X-acto® knife on a cutting mat to cut along the inside line, creating a frame. Back this frame with watercolor ferns paper and glue to card centered 3/4” from the bottom. Trim off excess.
Trace the 4”x5” label on the back of the blue/green watercolor paper. Draw a line from point to point of the label, then draw parallel lines 3/4” on away from the center line on both sides. Cut along the outer straight lines and the pointed sides to create a pointed label shape. Stamp “Celebrate!” in the center with Candied Yam chalk ink. Mat on Mocha holographic ripple paper, leaving a 1/8” border.
Glue 6 1/2” of green crepe ribbon across the card, 1 1/4” from the top. Glue the greeting centered over the ribbon. Zot™ a small green crepe bow to the bottom right corner of the greeting as shown.
For the inside: Cover the inside with horizontal stripe paper. Glue 6 1/2”x1 1/4” of Mocha ripple paper across the bottom. Glue 6 1/2”x1/4” across the card, 2” from the bottom. Create another pointed label as in step 3, this time using the 5”x6 1/2” label shape and tracing parallel lines 1 3/4” away from the center line. Stamp the resulting shape with “Happy Birthday to You” using the Candied Yam ink. Mat on Sienna suede paper, leaving a 1/8” border. Glue to card centered, 1/2” from the top. Zot™ a small green crepe bow to the bottom left of the greeting as shown.
