For the Front: Place the card with the fold on the left. Cover the card with vertical multi-stripe paper. Cut 5" x 1 1/2" of green dot paper. Place the rectangle horizontally on your cutting mat and cut from the top right corner to the bottom left corner to create two triangles (discard the top left triangle). Glue the remaining triangle to the bottom right corner of the card. Cut a 1/2" x 6" strip of brown dot and glue just along the top of the green triangle, trimming the edges that hang over the card. Cut a 1/4" x 6" strip of red swirl paper and glue above the brown dot strip, trimming as necessary.
Place both large cardinals, a small cardinal, a large holly bunch, and two small holly bunches on smooth white cardstock (suitable for use with alcohol pens). Color the cardinals with Spectrum Noir pens DR7, CR8, and CR10 for the bodies and wings, going from dark to light, blending as needed. Color all holly berries with DR7 or CR8. Color all holly leaves with DG4 and CG2, blending as needed. Cut out all pieces. For small swirls, lift up the swirls and cut underneath (so you don't have to cut out the tiny swirl itself).
Glue the cardinals to the front of the card in the top left and bottom right as shown. Glue the large holly bunch in the top right and a small holly bunch in the bottom left. Cut a 2 1/2" x 1" piece of beige paper and cut a “V” shape in the left side. Round the points with scissors and mat on red paper with a 1/16" border. Glue to the card flush with the right edge, 2" from the top. Place a piece of the red lace Dazzle™ border from the Cardinals Dazzles™ sheet under the banner, trimming as necessary. Place "Merry Christmas" in the center of the banner. Tie a bow with 3/4" wide green sheer dot ribbon, leaving the ends about 2" long. Zot™ the bow to the bottom left as shown, and use Zips™ to attach the bow ends to the card along the edges as shown. Trim off excess using sharp scissors.
For the Inside: Cut a 5" x 1 1/4" piece of multi-stripe paper and glue across the top. Place lacy border just under the strip as shown, trimming as necessary. Glue small holly to the top right and small cardinal to the bottom left. Add "Peace" and "Joy" as shown.
