Friends Card
Card front: Place your card with the fold on the left. Cover with black cardstock and trim. Cut burgundy paper 4 3/4” x 6 1/4” and glue centered to the card. Glue 3” x 6 1/4” snowflake border paper on center of burgundy paper.
Using the Circle & Scallop Dies, cut two 1 7/8” scallops, and one 3” scallop from black cardstock. Cut one 2 1/2” circle, and two 1 1/4” circles from both white cardstock, and Double-Sided Adhesive Sheets.
Glue 2 1/2” white circle on to 3” black scallop. Peel one side of matching adhesive sheet circle and place down on top of white circle. Peel off adhesive top, and pour Crystal Micro Fine glitter onto circle. Burnish with your finger, and shake off the excess. Repeat steps with smaller circles & scallops.
TECHNIQUE: Place Dazzles™ on Micro Glitter and color with Spectrum Noir pens for a custom look. Place Dazzles™ onto glittered circles and color in using Spectrum Noir pens DR7 and EB2 as shown. Foam tape a large scalloped circle to center 1” down from top of card, and glue one small scalloped circle slightly under and top right of large circle. Foam tape remaining scallop circle to the bottom right of the larger circle, and add small Dazzles™ around finished circles as shown.
Cut 5”x1/2” strip black cardstock. Glue 5”x1/4” burgundy to center of strip and place border Dazzles™ on either side of burgundy strip. Glue to bottom of card 1 1/2” from bottom. Trace Design Tool Kit #2 Tiny Label on white cardstock, cut out and stamp “Count your age by friends…” sentiment. Use the cosmetic wedge to add black ink to edges of tag. Foam tape to bottom left of card 1” from bottom.
Card inside: Mat 3 3/4” x 4 3/4” burgundy paper on black cardstock. Glue 2 1/2”x1 1/2” snowflake border paper centered at the bottom edge of the burgundy paper. Glue to center of card. Stamp “Happy Birthday” at the top of the burgundy paper.
Cut one 2 1/4” scallop from black cardstock, and one 1 7/8” circle from both white cardstock and adhesive sheet. Repeat Micro Glitter process. Color in as shown, and foam tape to bottom center.
Trim around the outside edge of evacuated 1¾” Doily Dazzles™ area on sheet. Remove backing from Dazzles™ Transfer Sheet and place over your trimmed “innie.” Rub over the piece firmly with the handle of your scissors to adhere all innie pieces to the transfer sheet. Position Dazzles™ over the glittered circle and rub again to place as shown.
