Wood & Texture Gate Sympathy Card
For the card front: Place the card with the fold on the left. Cut 4 7/8"x6 3/8" medium brown cardstock and glue it to the center front. Cut 4¼"x5¼" white cardstock. Swipe the evergreen ink pad across the cardstock along the bottom edge. Swipe the Seaweed ink pad next, moving up the cardstock, then the Moss Green pad. Swipe Ochre next, then Canary above it and up to the top of the cardstock. Dry the inks completely.
Cut 5"x6" Wood & Texture narrow brown boards paper and medium brown cardstock. Glue the paper to the cardstock, then use the 4½"x5½" and the 4"x4¾" dies to die cut a frame from the sandwiched papers. (Save the inside center.) Foam tape the frame to the inked panel.
Wrap a 7" black swirl sheer ribbon vertically over the panel, ½" from the right edge, and glue the ends to the back. Glue the panel to the center front. Die cut the gate from Wood & Texture diamond plate steel paper and twice from dark brown cardstock. Stack and glue the gates together with the diamond plate gate on top. Center the gate over the frame, tucking the right edge under the ribbon, and glue the top and bottom edges in place.
Die cut three birds from the Wood & Texture blue wood paper and glue them as shown. Glue the tan flowered tag die-cut shown at the lower right, tucking it under the ribbon. Place black “for you” Dazzles™ on the tag.
Make a 4-loop bow with the swirls ribbon and tie the center with thread. Use Extra Sticky tape to attach the bow over the tag hole. Add thread to a 3/8" gray button, then use tape to attach the button to the bow center.
