It's Your Birthday

Score an opened card at 2 1/2" and 7 1/2", fold the sides in to the center, and go over with a bone folder creating a gatefold card. For the front gates cut 6 1/4"x5" green with purple Luscious Lace cardstock then cut in half making 2 ½”x6 ¼” pieces. Glue to each side leaving 1/16" white borders. Cut 2 1/8"x 6 1/4" gold Mirri and cut in half then glue a piece to each side a 1/8" green border. 

Select the peacock card and cut out the card base. Cut it in half along the score line. Cut one piece in half and glue over the gold Mirri leaving 1/16" gold border. Save the other half for the inside. Place Border Dazzles™️ on the outer purple edges of the cut pieces. Foam tape the peacock image on the left side only in the center of the gates. Zot™️ the tag on the lower left. Make and Zot™️ a 3" wide blue bow below the image. Glue "It's Your Birthday" tag on the lower right as shown.

Card inside: Cut a piece of blue lace cardstock to 4 7/8"x6 1/2" and glue to the card center. Cut 4 1/4"x6 1/4" gold Mirri and glue on top leaving a 1/4" blue border. Glue the remaining card area from the front leaving a 1/8" gold border. Place border Dazzles™️ along the blue bottom area. Glue the border strip 1/2" from the top. Glue " For a Special Friend" and foam tape the peacock to the right as shown. Make and Zot™️ a 1 1/2" wide blue bow above the tag.
