Celebrate Birthday Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top and trim it to 6½" x 4". Cut a 6 3/8" x 3 7/8" piece of the green stars and plaid paper, cutting the plaid section 1½" wide to create a border on the left end. Glue it centered on the card front.
Cut out three stars and glue them to yellow 1" squares. Mat the squares on white, then glue them evenly spaced to the plaid section. Cut out the blank label and stamp "celebrate" on it and a candle on each side. Mat it on orange dots, then on white and glue it centered on the green striped area.
Cut the star magnet into two pieces, then cut off the tab from one, following the star shape. Add a green star brad at the top, then glue it to the label, overlapping the lower right corner.
For the inside: Cut out the "happy birthday" label. Mat it four times—on white, then on orange dots, then green plaid, and finally on yellow—varying the mat widths as shown. Glue it centered on the inside back. Fold over the tab on the remaining star magnet. Add the tab cut from the first star behind the folded tab and secure both with a brad. Glue the star as shown.
