Precious Friendship Tag Book
For the book front: Cut out the "friendship" tag and mat it on brown plaid. Ink the edges and glue it to a 3½" x 2½" piece of textured brown. Ink the edges. Tie one end of a 5½" brown ribbon length to a picture hanger. Attach the hanger to the friendship tag with a brown brad, then glue the ribbon across the lower edge of the brown piece, securing the end at the back. Back this constructed front with white cardstock for extra strength.
For the second page: Use the template to trace and cut a 3" rounded tag from the brown squares paper. Ink the edges, then mat it on brown texture. Cut out and glue the "friend" tag to the center, then add a brown brad at the top. Tie a 3" twine length around the brad. Cut out the gold "share" tag and glue it as shown. Back the page with white cardstock for extra strength.
For the third page: Trace and cut a 3¼" label from the brown plaid paper. Ink the edges, then mat it on brown squares paper and ink the edges again. Cut the "warm thoughts" word art apart, ink the edges, and glue the pieces to the label as shown. Cut out the "fun" bottle cap with the square frame and add foam tape to the back. Adhere it in the center of the label. Back the page with cardstock for strength.
For the fourth page: Trace and cut a 3" tag from the squares paper. Ink the edges and mat it on brown texture, then ink the edges again. Cut out the blank tag and glue it to the squares tag, angled as shown. Cut out the "smile" bottle cap without the square frame, add foam tape, and adhere it to the smaller tag. Cut out the gold "inspire" tag and glue a folded 1¾" ribbon behind the left end. Add foam tape to the back and adhere it as shown. Back the piece with cardstock.
For the back page: Cut out "we have such fun together" and mat it on plaid. Ink the edges. Cut out the gold "friend" tag and glue it as shown. Add a brown brad, then glue the sentiment to a 2¾" x 3½" piece of the brown textured paper. Ink the edges. Cut out the "friendship" word art and add foam tape to the back. Adhere it along the lower edge, then back the piece with cardstock. Tie a shoestring bow with twine and glue it at the center top.
To construct the book: Cut out the "precious" and "laugh" gold tags and punch a hole in the left end of each. Punch a hole at the center top of each constructed page. Thread twine through the holes, adding "precious" at the front and "laugh" between the second and third pages. Knot the twine leaving it loose so the pages can be easily turned. Tie a shoestring bow with the twine tails, then tie the bow loops in a half-knot again to secure it. Tie a 4" ribbon length to the twine, positioned at the book front.
