Birdcage Delight Card

For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left and cover the front with Nature’s nest paper, avoiding the nest. Ink the edges. Cut a 3 3/8"x3 5/8" and place in the box. Place the birdcage Dazzle™ on the paper, but don't press it down. Spritz with the limelicious ink. Remove the Dazzle™ and place it on the craft sheet to wipe off the ink. When the paper is dry, place the birdcage on it, slightly offset from the stenciled image, and press to secure.

Cut a 6"x1" ivory cardstock and repeat the stenciling process, using splash Smooch with a 3/8" wide diamond border Dazzles™. Ink the edges of both spritzed papers, then mat each on black cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue the birdcage near the upper edge. Trim the border to 5" and mat the long edges on Nature’s stripes paper with 1/8" borders. Ink the edges and glue below the cage. Place the swirls, “delight,” and jewel Dazzles™ as shown.

For the inside: Cut Nature’s green/blue watercolor paper to cover the inside, ink the edges, and glue. Cut a 2 7/8"x2 5/8" ivory cardstock and stencil a beehive Dazzle™ using splash ink. When dry, press the beehive in place. Repeat on a 2 3/8"x2¼" ivory cardstock with a butterfly Dazzle™ and limelicious. Ink the edges of the butterfly image. Mat each on black cardstock with 1/16" borders and glue as shown. Place the remaining Dazzles™ as shown.
