Floral Wishes Double Z-Fold Mother’s Day Card

Instructions:

1. For the card: Cut 10"x6½" and 10½"x4¾" ivory cardstock. Fold the larger cardstock in half to make a 5"x6½" card. With it closed, measure 1¾" down from the upper right corner and mark this point. Draw a line from the upper left front corner down to this mark, then cut on the line and remove the upper piece.

2. Place the smaller ivory cardstock piece horizontally and score it vertically ½” and 5 ½” from the left edge. Fold the ½" wide tab under then fold the 5" score in a mountain fold. With it folded, measure 1½" down from the upper right front corner and mark this point. Draw a line from the upper left front corner down to this mark, then cut on the line and remove the upper piece.

3. Place sticky tape on the outer surface of the ½" wide tab, then align it with the front right edge of the larger card and press in place. (You now have a 4-panel double Z-fold card.) Use the corner punch to round the upper right corner on the last panel.

4. For the front: Trace and cut the front paper pattern from purple Handwritten Scripts paper. Wrap ivory sheer swirls ribbon across the paper ⅞" from the bottom and secure the ends to the back. Place border Dazzles™ across the lower edge, trimming the excess, then glue the paper centered on the front. 

5. Remove the frame from the anemone bouquet topper and glue the topper to the front, ¾" from the card bottom. Foam tape the yellow “just to say…” sentiment as shown. Make a 4-loop bow with the sheer swirls ribbon and tie the center with ¼" wide ivory sheer ribbon. Glue the bow to the first ribbon as shown.

6. For the first inside panel: Flip the front paper pattern over, then trace and cut it from tan Melodies paper. Glue it centered on the panel. Knot a 5" length of swirls ribbon. Foam tape the yellow “you’re in my thoughts…” sentiment and tuck the ribbon knot just under the upper left edge. Place border Dazzles™ near the bottom edge, trimming the excess.

7. For the second inside panel: Cut 4⅞"x4⅝" Melodies gold branches paper and glue it centered on the panel. Remove the frame from the pansies topper, then glue the topper to the panel, ½" from the bottom. Continue the same border Dazzles™ along the bottom edge, trimming the excess.

8. For the third inside panel: Trace and cut the third panel paper pattern from blue Handwritten Scripts paper. Glue it centered on the panel. Turn the card over. Flip the paper pattern over, then trace and cut a paper from tan flowered Melodies paper. Glue it to the panel back. Turn the card over again. 

9. Remove the frame from the oval blue daisies topper and glue the topper as shown. Foam tape the blue “sending love from far away” tag overlapping the topper at the upper right. Knot a 3" length of ¼" wide ivory sheer ribbon and glue the knot over the tag hole. Continue the same border Dazzles™ along the bottom edge, trimming the excess.

10. For the fourth inside panel: Cut 4¾"x6⅜" burgundy Handwritten Scripts paper, then trim off the upper right corner to fit the rounded card corner. Glue the paper centered on the last panel. Remove the frame from the chrysanthemum topper and glue the topper centered on the panel. Foam tape the gray “have a lovely Mother’s Day” sentiment at the upper right. Continue the same border Dazzles™ along the bottom edge, trimming the excess.
