Feathered Friends Pop Up Card
Punch out all of the pieces for Feathered Friends. Fold the lilac card in half with the fold at the top. Mat the small “For Your” heart on purple holographic paper leaving 1/8” borders. Glue to the center just below the words, matching the heart centers. Trace and cut the smallest heart on the purple holographic paper. Foam tape to the of a flower heart. Foam tape to the bottom right of the large heart. Glue “Birthday Wishes” circle just under the heart. Zots™ a purple crepe bow to the top left card front.
Card Inside: Mat Large pop up heart on purple holographic paper, leaving 1/8” borders. Place this heart upside down inside, on the card back. Place it just inside the tip. Following instructions to assemble the Pop Up Card, place ¼” clear tape on the ends, and long parts of the tabs. Glue the narrow tabs just above the matted heart, and closer to the middle so they do not show. Glue the long tabs to the back of the matted heart. Fold up the ends, and close the card, so that these tabs stick to the inside front card cover. When you lift the card front, the inside will “Pop-Up”.
Trace another small heart on the purple holographic paper. Foam tape it to the upper right side of the matted heart. Foam tape the “With Love” circle to the bottom right as shown.
Follow instructions to glue and fold stand. Place tape in 2-narrow outsides of hearts. Put glue just on one side of the triangle piece. Stick narrow sides to the backs of the hearts, and glue the 2 triangles together. Place card in the middle, so it stands up.
