Escape the Ordinary Album

1. Cover: Open the front and place on the craft mat. Use the blender brush with velvet fawn ink pad to color the edges. Repeat for all pages of the album.

2. Cut 3 ½”x4 ½” herringbone Wanderlust Explorer cardstock. Glue ¼” from the left. Glue compass/herringbone laser cut as shown matching up the herringbone design.

3. Cut out “Escape the ordinary” rub-on. Remove the liner and position on the album. Use the bone folder to burnish the rub-on. Carefully lift one end and gently pull the plastic to reveal the image. If any areas did not transfer, rub again.

4. Use drops of Specialist glue to attach various colors of the aqua splash flowers.

5. Page 1: Cut the sheet with two frames on it. Color the edges with velvet fawn ink pad using a blender brush. Cut one width of the herringbone cardstock and glue on the left, trim off the excess. Remove the van laser cut. Left the backing from Sticky Specs and place the van on it. Tap gently then lift off and place on the cardstock slightly overlapping the herringbone. Attach the compass and arrow laser cuts. Cut out “Discover” and apply to the right side as shown in step 3.

6. Page 2: Repeat step 1 using the airplane laser cut and three rub-ons as shown.

7. Page 3: Repeat step 1 using the train laser cut with two rub-ons.

8. Alternate idea: Add journaling to the pages. Just write your memory and print on copy paper. Tear the edges then color with blender brush and velvet fawn ink pad. Glue to the top of the page and add relevant laser cuts and rub-ons. If you have tickets or other such items, create a pocket and insert. Very fun!
