For the front: Place your card with the fold on the left. Cover the card with floral corner paper with the embellished corner on the bottom left. Ink the edges black using a cosmetic sponge and Jet Black StazOn®. Punch out the square die-cut. Use a craft knife to carefully cut out the inner square along the black lines. Place the resulting frame on the card centered 1" from the top. Trace the inner shape with a pencil and remove the frame. Open your card on a cutting mat. Cut about 1/8" outside the pencil line with a craft knife, creating your window. Cut a 3" square of acetate. Place Zips™ around the perimeter and attach the acetate to the back of the square frame. Place Zips™ again around the perimeter of the acetate and attach the square frame to the card centered over the window.
Stamp and emboss the girl with wings on light blue paper using Super Fine black embossing powder. Color in with Spectrum Noir™ pens TN7 (Brown set), FS3 (Pale Hues set), and BT5 (Turquoise set). Cut out and glue (glue stick works) to the center of the window as shown. Foam tape the two die-cut flourishes on either side of the girl as shown.
Punch out the white lattice border die-cut and glue it across the card 1/2" from the bottom. Trim excess. Stamp and emboss "Birthday Wishes" in the center of the small label die-cut and mat on black stars paper with a 1/16" border. Foam tape to the card 3/8" from the bottom and 1/2" from the right. Tie a small bow of narrow black sheer ribbon and glue to the top right of the greeting as shown.
For the inside: Cover the inside with black stripe paper. Glue iridescent aqua ribbon across the bottom using Zips&trade,; 1 1/4" from the bottom. Zot™ a matching bow on top of the ribbon on the right side. Take the inner square that you cut out from step 1 and apply glue stick to the back. With the card open, place it sticky side up lined up on the back of the acetate window (on the left panel of the open card). Close the right panel over to the left panel. Open again and the square should be stuck to the back panel. Close the card and check that the square is exactly lined up with the front window opening, adjust slightly if necessary and press down to fully adhere. Stamp and emboss "Happy Thoughts" on light green paper and cut out in a small rectangle. Mat on black paper with a 1/16" border and glue to the center of the square. Close the card and adjust to make sure the inside sentiment is hidden by the girl with wings on the front of the window, as shown.
