Black & White Hello Card
Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on your left and cover with green circles holographic paper.
TECHNIQUE: Split Die-cut Inlay Lay 1 ½”x6 ¼” white cardstock to the left of 3 ¼”x6 ¼” black cardstock and use transparent tape at the top and bottom edges to connect. Flip the piece over with white on the left, place the pointed fern centered on the seam and follow the manufacturer’s instructions of your die-cutting machine to die-cut a fern “window”. Remove and discard the die-cut fern pieces, but keep any tiny surrounding pieces that have separated. Glue the black/white piece centered on your card, and glue the extra surrounding pieces in place to complete the outer fern image. Die-cut a fern from holographic paper and glue into the opening.
Tuck the ends of two lengths of sheer black dotted ribbon under the sides of the cardstock, ½” from the bottom, tying a bow over the fern. Die-cut “Hello” from white cardstock and glue in place above the ribbon. Place Jewel Dazzles™ at the top right corner, as shown.
Card inside: Mat 2”x5 ¾” white cardstock on holographic paper with a 1/8” border and glue 1/8” from the fold. Die-cut a black fern and glue in place, as shown. Place Jewel Dazzles™ on the four corners.
