Precious Memory Page
Background: Use On Butterfly Wings butterfly border paper as your background. Cut 12"x4" On Butterfly Wings striped paper and glue across the page 4" from the bottom. Place some newspapers or a large box in a well-ventilated area (outside is ideal). Lay your page on your work surface and evenly spray one coat of gold dust glitter spray over the paper; let dry.
Photos: Cut three 5 3/4"x4" papers from On Butterfly Wings brown dot, pink floral, and black flourish papers. Use the Lay Frame folder to emboss each paper. Use a sanding block to lightly sand the raised designs on each. Don't sand too hard, or you'll go through the paper. Scrape the blade of a craft knife across the cut edges of the rectangles to rough up the edges a little. Cut a 2 1/4"x4" vertical photo and glue to the center of the brown dot frame. Roll up the corners with your fingers. Foam tape the framed photo to the page, 1" from the left and 3" from the top. Glue a 4"x2 1/4" horizontal photo in the center of the pink floral frame. Roll up all corners except for the bottom left. Foam tape this photo to the page 3/4" from the right and 1 3/4" from the bottom.
Journaling: Print your journaling onto 4"x2 1/4" On Butterfly Wings ivory flourishes paper. Ink the edges black and glue to the center of the embossed black flourish frame. Roll up the bottom right corner. Glue pink stitched grosgrain ribbon across the bottom left and top right corners (attach with tape at the back). On the background paper, use a craft pen knife to cut around the bottom left wing of the top right butterfly, creating a flap to tuck the frame under. Foam tape the frame 1 3/4" from the top and 1/2" from the right. Cut 5"x1 1/4" Azalea suede paper. Place "Precious Memory" Dazzles™ in the center as shown. Cut a “V” in each end of the rectangle. Mat onto On Butterfly Wings brown paper with a 1/16" border. Add two small heart Dazzles™ on the bottom left, and foam tape to the page 3/4" from the bottom and 3" from the right.
Embellishments: Back the largest butterfly Dazzles™ with Azalea suede paper, trimming around the Dazzles™ edge. Glue over the top left corner of the journaling frame at the top. Back a medium butterfly with Azalea suede and foam tape over the bottom right of the brown dot frame. Tie a cream dot bow and glue to the top left corner of the brown photo. Glue a black sheer dot bow to the bottom right of the pink photo. Add a scattering of small gold hearts in the blank area above the brown photo.
