Hello Friend Card
Fold along all the score lines on the card pieces. Front flap: Cover the front flap with Family Ties blue houses paper, trimming to fit. Use a cosmetic sponge and black StazOn® to ink the edges of the flap. Cut a piece of silver mirror sheet to fit the embossing folder and emboss with the Diamond Metal Plate embossing folder. Cut a 3/4" wide strip from one long edge. Peel off the backing and place across the flap, 1" from the top. Use a ruler and craft knife to cut four lengths of 1/16" wide strips from the red Dazzles™ backing sheet. Peel off and place two of these strips above and below the silver embossed strip. Place "Our Family Tree Is Blessed With Thee" Dazzles™ onto Family Ties black flourishes paper and trim around, leaving a 1/16" border. Go back to the Dazzles™ sheet and color the word "Family" (from the greeting) with Spectrum Noir™ Red (CR11). Use a craft knife to pick up the letters of "Family” and place them into their respective places on the greeting. Place a red heart in the middle of the "O." Glue the greeting onto black cardstock for extra sturdiness and cut out with no borders. Glue to the middle of the flap, about 1/2" from the top.
Front of pocket: Cut a 1 3/4" wide strip of the embossed silver mirror piece, peel off backing, and place across the top edge of the pocket. Cut 5 1/4"x1 1/2" Family Ties striped paper (with the houses and hearts) and glue just below the silver, as shown. Add red heart Dazzles™ to every other heart in the border as shown. Cover the remainder of the pocket with embossed silver mirror, trimming to fit. Place the remaining red glitter Dazzles™ strips along the top and bottom of the striped piece, as shown.
Inside Pull-Up: Cover the inside piece with Family Ties red flourishes paper. Place a 1/4" wide strip of silver mirror across the top, even with the top fold. Place a house Dazzles™ on Family Ties teal flourishes paper and cut it out, leaving a 1/16” border. Place a red Dazzles™ heart on the roof, and glue to the panel as shown. Place "Dad" Dazzles™ on Family Ties black flourishes paper and trim into a rectangle. Glue to the upper right of the house and frame with strips of red glitter Dazzles™ sheet.
