Get Well Bendi Card
Designer’s Note: I reinforced the arch layer of the card by die-cutting two pieces. Just remember, the slits must line up when gluing an extra layer to the arch so the center layer tab can be inserted through it, creating the bendi design.
Instructions:
1. For the card: Die cut the arch from Teacups & Roses pink dotted cardstock. Die cut it from blue checks cardstock, positioning the die so the doily on the cardstock back extends off the right side. Glue the two arches together so the slits line up. Die cut the center layer from the white dotted cardstock and the front layer from pink lace cardstock. Follow the package directions to assemble the card with sticky tape.
2. Die cut two lace borders from white cardstock. Glue one to the upper edge back of the center layer, trimming it to fit. Glue the second lace border to the upper edge of the front layer, again trimming it to fit.
3. For the arch: Hold two ⅛" ribbons together and attach them to the pink plaid Teacups & Roses tag die-cut. Place pink pearl “get well” Dazzles™ on the tag, then glue it to the arch at the upper left. Place leaf Dazzles™ on green solid cardstock and cut along the edges. Place a pink and a purple 1¼" flower Dazzles™ on white cardstock and cut along the edges.
4. Glue and place the Dazzles™ on the tag as shown, foam taping the purple flower in place. Decorate the flowers with jewel Dazzles™ and place two gold pearl butterflies as shown.
5. For the center layer: Back another large purple flower Dazzles™ with white cardstock, then place a green sprig and glue the flower as shown. Place a small gold butterfly overlapping the flower. Place a pink pearl thin line border Dazzles™ across the bottom, trimming the excess.
6. For the front layer: Place pink pearl “thinking of you” Dazzles™ across the front. Place a pink pearl thin line border Dazzles™ near the bottom, trimming the excess. Back a large pink flower Dazzles™ with white cardstock and a leaf with green cardstock. Place, glue, and foam tape the Dazzles™ as shown, adding a gold pearl butterfly above the sentiment. Decorate the flowers with jewel Dazzles™.
7. For the back: Place pink pearl “lots of hugs,” small flowers, and a small butterfly Dazzles™ as shown. Add jewel Dazzles™ to the flower centers. Place two thin line Dazzles™ along the bottom, trimming the excess. To display the card, insert the center layer’s tab into the slit in the arch, then insert the front layer’s tab into the slit in the center layer.
