Thinking of You Card

Select a blank card and place with the fold at the top. Remove 5”x3 1/2” area from the center of card front using a paper trimmer leaving 3/4” white edges on all sides. 

Tape 6”x4 1/2” piece of acetate over the evacuated area. Cut 6 1/4”x4 3/4” blue glitter and mat on gold cardstock with 1/8” borders. Use the evacuated piece from card front to trace on the center back of the gold cardstock. Cut out with a paper trimmer. Secure over the acetate on the card front. 

Cut apart a red cardinal sheet from the Little Book separating the images shown. Cut another layer of each image but just the center of the flowers, body of the flying bird and top of the other bird. Foam tape the pieces over the matching art. Trim 2 5/8”x5/8” Thinking of You from the Essential Inserts and mat on gold cardstock leaving a 1/8” gold border. 

Card inside: Cover card base with tape, lay red cardstock flush to fold and one side, turn over and trim off the excess. Cut 6 1/8”x4 1/2” pink cardstock and secure to red cardstock leaving 1/8” red borders. Tape the bird and flowers page from Little Book to the pink cardstock leaving 1/8” pink borders. Trim out 2 7/8”x3/4” “Just to say” Essential Inserts page and mat on gold cardstock leaving 1/16” gold border. Tape to the bottom left corner.

On the card front: Tape the foam taped images over the matching inside image. Tape the message onto lower left corner covering the inside sentiment. Cut out another layer of Little Book images. Tape onto the reverse side of the acetate with the white side showing when card is open. This will cover up the tape from the front.
