Get well
With the fold at the left, cover the card front with light blue vellum. Mat a 4” x 5 ¼” blue/lavender textured paper rectangle on blue cardstock, leaving a 1/8” border. Glue centered to the card front. Remove the surrounding Dazzles™ material from two rows of tiny jewel Dazzles™ stickers, then use the transfer sheet to apply them to the left side of the card front as a border.
Use the template to trace one 1C shape and one 4C shape onto the paper backing of the double-sided adhesive with the pencil. With the backing sheets still covering the adhesive, cut out the shapes. Remove one side of the paper backing from the larger shape and attach to plastic. Remove the remaining paper backing. Pour the Delphinium blue Flower Soft into a larger container and break up any lumps with your fingers. Sprinkle the Flower Soft over the adhesive flower shape and press down with your fingers. Tap off the excess and pour back into the container. Repeat if needed for coverage. Rub edges of the shape with your fingers as needed to smooth the shape. Attach the smaller shape onto plastic and add Silver Flower Soft in the same manner. Use Flower Soft Glue to attach the silver flower shape to the center of the blue flower. Loosen the edges of at least 3 flower petals and remove the layered flower from the plastic. Attach layered flower to the left side of the card front, 1” from the top.
Use the template to trace a flower stem onto the card front below the blue flower. Draw a line of glue along your pencil line, then add Silver Flower Soft. Tap off the excess and let dry. Zot a ribbon knot to the center of the stem. Write or computer print “Get well” on tag, mat on blue and glue to the card front as shown. Add Jewel Dazzles™ to center of silver flower center and end of tag.
Inside the card: Write or computer print a message on blue/lavender textured paper and trim to a 2” x 1 3/8” rectangle. Mat on blue cardstock, leaving a 3/16” border. Mat on light blue vellum, leaving a ¼” border. Glue centered to the inside. Use the transfer sheet to add a row of Jewel Dazzles™ across the bottom of the vellum mat. Create another adhesive flower shape (3A) as you did before, using Silver Flower soft. Attach the silver flower to the top of the word block. Add a Jewel Dazzles™ to the center.
