Waterfall Birthday Card

Instructions:

1. For the card front: Die cut the center step card from blue solid cardstock. Trace and cut the front paper pattern from Secret Garden blue border cardstock. Place a pink and a silver straight line Dazzles™ near the lower edge and a silver straight line Dazzles™ near the top, trimming the excess. Glue the cardstock centered on the front. 

2. Cut two ¾"x3¾" Secret Garden blue border cardstocks, place silver straight line Dazzles™ to match the front near the top edge, and trim the excess. Glue the cardstocks to the side panels. Attach a mint gingham ribbon to the “thinking of you” tag die-cut and foam tape it to the front, angled as shown. Back a 1⅛" silver pearl butterfly Dazzles™ with pink cardstock, then foam tape it to the tag and place two tiny butterfly Dazzles™ as shown.

3. For the inside: Trace and cut the inside paper pattern from blue border cardstock. Place a pink straight line Dazzles™ near the lower edge, trimming the excess, then glue the cardstock centered on the inside. Die cut the crossbar from solid blue cardstock, then follow the package directions and use sticky tape to attach it to the inside. 

4. Die cut the pull mechanism from lavender cardstock and follow the package directions to crease the scores and attach the tape. Tie lavender gingham ribbon tono the mechanism, then attach the mechanism to the crossbar. Die cut two lavender sprigs flip cards and two pink sprigs flip cards. Attach the cards to the mechanism, alternating the colors. 

5. For the first (top) flip card, glue the “to my dear friend” cutout near the left edge, then place white butterfly Dazzles™ as shown. For the second flip card, glue the “happy birthday” cutout in the center and place a white butterfly Dazzles™ as shown.

6. For the third flip card, glue the blank blue rectangle cutout in the center and place silver “make a wish” Dazzles™ on it. Place two white corner swirls on the cutout’s upper corners. For the fourth flip card, glue the blank pink oval cutout near the left edge and place silver “celebrate” Dazzles™ on it. Place a large white pink swirl Dazzles™ as shown.
