Waterfall Thank You Card

Instructions:

1. For the card front: Die cut the base from Lilacs in Bloom lavender sprigs cardstock and mat it on purple cardstock with 1/16" borders. Mat it again on lavender cardstock with ⅛" borders. Die cut the crossbar from purple cardstock. Cut 3⅝"x⅜" Lilacs in Bloom purple micro dot cardstock and glue it centered on the crossbar. Use sticky tape to attach the crossbar to the card front, following the package directions.

2. Die cut the pull mechanism from purple cardstock, two flip cards from lavender cardstock and two from lilac cardstock. Follow the package directions to crease the scores and construct the waterfall, varying the colors of the flip cards.

3. For the first (top) flip card, glue the “hello friend” cutout near the right edge, then place pink lilac Dazzles™ as shown. Place purple jewel Dazzles™ on the flower, then place two tiny gold butterflies with pink jewel Dazzles™ on the card as shown.

4. For the second flip card, glue the “thinking of you” cutout and place a pink pearl lilac and purple jewel Dazzles™ on the card as shown. For the third flip card, place a 1¾" gold jewel butterfly and a tiny gold butterfly Dazzles™ on the card as shown, then decorate both with jewel Dazzles™.

5. For the fourth flip card, glue the “thank you” cutout and place the Dazzles™ butterfly and lilac as shown. Decorate both with jewel Dazzles. For the pull mechanism, place a 3" gold lilac Dazzles™ on the mechanism, then decorate it with purple jewel Dazzles™. Tie sheer dotted ribbon onto the pull mechanism’s hole.

6. For the back: Die cut 3¾"x5" lilac cardstock rectangle and glue it centered on the back. Die cut a 2⅞"x3½" rectangle from Lilacs in Bloom pink border paper. Die cut a 3¼"x3⅞" purple scalloped rectangle and glue the border rectangle in the center. Glue both on the back.

7. Glue the “love you always” and “you are the best” die-cuts to the back as shown. Place a pink 2¾" lilac Dazzles™ at the lower left, a 1¼" lilac at the upper right, and two gold butterflies as shown. Decorate all of them with jewel Dazzles™.
