Make A Wish Card
Card front: Cut your card into a 5” square. Place your card with the fold on top. Cover with Gold Hammered paper. Cut a 5¼” square of black cardstock, and glue it to the outside card back.
TECHNIQUE: White Ink On Colored Cardstock: Cut a 6” square of purple cardstock. Tape the stencil over it. Ink all over with white ink. Let dry. Cut to a 4¾" square. Wrap a length of black crepe ribbon around the left side 1” from the left edge, gluing the ends to the back. Glue centered on the gold hammered paper.
Use the Paper Patchwork Template to trace the hexagon shape onto purple cardstock. Cut out and mat onto Gold Hammered paper and again on black cardstock with 1/8” borders. Foam tape over the ribbon ¾" from the top. Zot™ a black bow under.
Place the paper wrapper section of a cupcake Dazzles™ onto Simply Susan purple polka dot paper, and cut close around the cupcake wrapper. Use this method to back the candle with teal patterned paper and the candle flame with lime green paper. Glue the backed cupcake to the matted hexagon. Embellish the cupcake with Purple Flower Jewel Dazzles™.
Trace and cut two purple hexagon shapes. Mat on gold and again on black with 1/16” borders. Set aside one for the inside, and on the other, place the “Make a WISH” Dazzles™. Place a gold thin line Dazzles™ 1/8” within the border. Foam tape to the bottom right corner.
Card inside: Repeat Step # Cut into a 5” square. Wrap a ribbon around the middle. Glue to the inside. Glue the second matted hexagon shape in the middle. Place the “Happy Birthday” Dazzles™ in the middle. Place a Thin Line Dazzles™ 1/8” within the border. Embellish with Purple Flower Jewel Dazzles™ as shown.
