Romantic Florals Valentine Card

Instructions:

1. For the card & front: Cut a 4½"x6" Romantic Florals pink tapestry cardstock and mat it on pink cardstock with ⅛” borders. Glue it centered on the front. Cut 3¾"x3¾" Romantic Florals tan corner design cardstock with the pink rose at the upper right. Mat it on dark green cardstock with ⅛" borders, then on Gold paper with 1/16" borders. Glue it to the front, ⅝" from the card top.

2. Cut the Romantic Florals chipboard border, “love,” and small butterfly from the backing. Coat the front of each with watermark ink by pressing it deeply into the ink pad foam so the sides are also covered with ink. Cover the pieces with embossing powder, tap off the excess, and heat the remainder to melt. Repeat this embossing process twice more until the chip pieces resemble metal charms.

3. Glue the embossed border across the front, 1" from the bottom, overlapping the rose square’s lower edge. Cut out the Romantic Florals blank label shown and foam tape it to the front, overlapping the border’s top edge. Glue “love” to the label and the butterfly as shown.

4. For the inside: Cut 4½"x4½" Romantic Florals pink striped cardstock with the roses and butterfly in the upper right corner. Mat it on dark blue cardstock with ⅛" borders, then glue it to the inside, ½" from the top. Cut out the Romantic Florals blank label shown and mat it on Gold paper with ⅛" borders. Place gold “happy Valentine’s Day” and a heart Dazzles™ on it, then glue the label as shown.
