Happy Birthday Banner Card
Card panel: Mat a 4 3/4”x6 3/8” Chalkboard greetings paper on Black Suede paper with 1/16” border on the left, right and bottom edges. Do not attach to your card yet.
Cut a 1 1/2”x5” Chalkboard green scroll paper, cut bottom at an angle, ink the edges and glue even with the top of your card panel, 1/4” from the left edge, as shown. Cut a 1 1/2”x3 1/2” Chalkboard black dot paper, cut bottom at an angle, ink the edges and glue even with the top of your card panel, 1/4” from the right edge, as shown. Cut a 3/4”x3” Chalkboard pink paper, cut a “V” in the bottom, ink the edges and glue 1/8” from the left edge. Cut a 3/4”x2 1/4” Chalkboard green scroll paper, cut bottom at an angle, ink the edges and glue 1/8” from the right edge.
Cut a “V” in the bottom of a 2”x5 3/4” Chalkboard pink scroll paper and stamp “happy BIRTHDAY” on the bottom of the strip. Mat on Black Suede, then on Chalkboard ivory dots paper with 1/16” borders on the left, right and bottom edges. Glue on your panel center, even with the top edge. Punch a hole 2” from the top edge, centered on the matted banner strip.
Mat the large scroll label Embellies™ on Black Suede with a 1/16” border, punch through the hole and the suede, place over the punched hole on the banner and attach with an Embellies™ rose brad. Punch holes above and around the top of the label and attach Embellies™ brads, as shown.
Place your card with the fold on the left and glue your card panel even with the top edge. Place border Dazzles™ on the top edge of the card, banner and across the Embellies™ label strip. Place Jewel Dazzles™ around the brads and on the label.
