Vintage Lace Purple Birthday Card
For the card front: Place the card with the fold at the top. Cut 6½"x5" purple cardstock and glue it to the card front. Cut 6 3/8"x4 7/8" Vintage Lace lavender/tan floral paper and glue it centered on the front.
Cut 7"x5" purple cardstock, place it in the embossing folder, and emboss the design. Place the cardstock on the craft sheet, then very lightly rub the opal polish over just the raised areas. Let the cardstock dry. Trim away the excess along the outer edges of the embossed design. Cut along the inside edges of the outer lace designs, creating four embossed pieces.
Glue the two smaller embossed pieces to the flowers paper, aligning the centers with the centers of the top and bottom edges. Trim the two wider embossed pieces to 6 3/8" long, then glue them across the center, leaving a 1" open area between them.
Cut 6 3/8"x1" Vintage Lace tan flowers paper and mat the long edges on purple cardstock with 1/8" borders. Wrap a 7" length of ¾" wide purple crepe ribbon across the center of the strip, gluing the ends to the back. Glue the strip across the center front, overlapping the long edges of the two wider embossed pieces.
Die cut a 3"x1¾" frame from Tan Pearl cardstock and a 2½"x1 1/8" frame from Lavender Pearl cardstock. Glue the lavender frame centered on the tan frame. Place silver “happy birthday” Dazzles™ in the center with a heart below the greeting. Foam tape the frames to the center front.
Cut two 4" lengths of the purple crepe ribbon and knot each. Glue one knotted ribbon to each end of the tan frame. Die cut two Lavender Pearl small butterflies and glue both to the front as shown, then place a jewel Dazzles™ in the center of each.
For the inside: Cut 5¾"x3¾" Vintage Lace aqua floral paper and mat it on purple cardstock with 1/8" borders. Glue it to the inside center. Die cut a 5"x3¼" frame from Tan Pearl cardstock, cutting out the center with the 3"x1¾" die. Glue the tan frame to the inside center.
Die cut the 3"x1¾" frame from Lavender Pearl cardstock, then glue it into the center of the tan frame. Die cut a 2½"x1 1/8" frame from purple cardstock and glue it centered on the lavender frame. Place silver “celebrate” Dazzles™ in the center.
