Place your card with the fold on the top. Cover the card front with Hopscotch striped paper. Cut a 2 1/2"x5” Hopscotch red patterned paper and mat the long sides on Hopscotch light blue/white dots paper with 1/8” borders. Glue a 5” length of 3/4" wide aqua crepe ribbon centered on the red paper. Glue vertically centered on the card. Ink the card edges black.
Use the Design Tool Bracket Label template to trace the shape onto white cardstock. Remove the template and cut it out. Stamp the little girl with dog and doghouse image centered on the label with black ink. Stamp the small flower/leaves image 3 times on white cardstock with black ink.
Color in the large stamped image with Chameleon™ pens as follows, using the light to dark method as given in the technique above. Color in the sides and inside of the doghouse with the Sky Blue pen, infusing the pen as needed. Color in the birds, dog collar, and the dog’s water with the same pen. Color in the roof and doorway of the doghouse with the Fawn pen. Color in the little girl’s hair, the flower centers, and the background of the dog’s water bowl with the Warm Sunset pen. Color in the girl’s clothing/socks and the flower box with the Aqua Marine pen. Color in the heart on the dog’s collar and the hearts on the bowl with Crimson Red. Color in the dog and the little girl’s shoes with the Cool Gray pen. Color in the little girl’s skin with the Bisque pen.
Use the full color of Crimson Red to color in the hair bow and flower petals. Color in the leaves and grass with the Olive Green pen, with a light green color. Color in the birds’ beaks with the Seville Orange pen. Color in the center of the dog’s ears, the dog’s tongue, and the little girl’s lips with the lightest infused color of the Crimson Red pen, for a light pink color.
Infuse the Cool Gray pen and apply a very light gray color around the outer edges of the entire image as a finishing touch, infusing as needed to maintain the light gray color.
Color in the small flower images using the Crimson Red pen, the Olive Green pen, and the Warm Sunset pen, from light to dark as shown. Cut out each image.
Use the Precision pen to draw a line inside the edge of the label. Infuse the Sky Blue pen and draw a light blue line around the inside edge of the pen line, infusing the nib as needed for a light blue color. Use the Precision pen to draw a row of dots around the inner edge of the blue line. Mat the label on Hopscotch green/white dots paper with 1/8” borders. Foam tape it centered on the card front. Foam tape the small flower images on the edges of the label as shown.
Stamp “LOVE” on Hopscotch yellow plaid paper with Black ink. Place the Vintage Sign template centered on the word and trace the shape. Remove the template and cut out the shape. Use the Precision pen to draw a line just inside the edges, then add a dotted line along each end as shown. Mat on Hopscotch red patterned paper with 1/16” borders. Foam tape on the upper left edge of the label. Use red/white twine to tie a bow. Zot™ the bow near the word as shown.
Cut a 6 1/2"x2 1/2" red patterned paper and mat the long sides on Hopscotch light blue/white dots paper. Glue centered across the inside. Cut a 6 1/2"x3/4” Hopscotch striped paper and glue centered across the red paper.
Trace and cut a Beveled Label shape from white card stock. Stamp the small dog with bow image on the left side of the label with Black ink. Stamp “Hope Your Day is Filled with Treats!” on the right side. Color in the dog image with the Cool Gray pen from light to dark. Color in the center of the ear with the infused Crimson Red pen for a light pink color. Color in the hearts with the same pen, working light to dark. Color in the bow with full strength Crimson Red. Infuse the Cool Gray pen and apply a very light gray color around the outer edges of the entire image as a finishing touch, infusing as needed to maintain the light gray color. Color in the little bone above “Treats!” with the Fawn pen.
