Birthday Double Pocket & Tags
For the double-pocket: Cut 8"x8" Kaleidoscope brown floral paper and fold in half diagonally. With the fold at the bottom, measure 4" in from the left side point and score vertically. Repeat 4" in from the right side point. Trim 5/8" off the both side points. Open the paper and fold the right side in on the vertical score line, then fold the left side in. Turn 90° and score ½" on each side of the center fold line. Fold the center line in a mountain fold, then fold the two sides back in valley folds to form the double pocket base.
Punch a 12" daisy strip from Kaleidoscope green paper and cut in half. Glue one to each side along the edge of the topmost layer of brown floral paper. Trim excess. Trace and cut two labels from Kaleidoscope pink paper. Stamp “birthday wishes” on one and “for someone special” on the other. Draw stitches around the edges. Mat on cardstock with 1/32" borders, then punch a hole in one end of each. Tie 1/8" brown grosgrain ribbon onto each tag, then foam tape one to each pocket as shown.
Trace and cut the small tag from Kaleidoscope green paper. Stamp “surprise” and draw stitches on it. Mat on cardstock with 1/32" borders and punch a hole. Hold the upper points of the pockets together and punch a hole through both layers. Insert brown/black dotted sheer ribbon through the holes, thread the tag onto one end and tie the pocket tops together. Place the Dazzles™ on the pockets, cutting some in half as shown.
For the large tags: Stamp “the more candles…” on the ivory tag, then tie ½" wide pink/brown dotted ribbon on it. Trace and cut another pink label, then stamp “so many candles…” on it. Draw stitches around the edge, then mat on cardstock with 1/32" borders. Punch a hole in the right end, attach 1/8" brown ribbon, and foam tape to the brown tag. Tie pink/brown ribbon onto the tag. Place the Dazzles on the tags as shown and insert in the pockets.
