Congrats Modified Shutter Card
For the card: Cut 6"x12" white cardstock and turn horizontally. Score 4" and 8" from the right end. Measure 6" from the right end and score down from the top 1½" and up from the bottom 1½", leaving the center area unscored. Repeat 10" from the right end, again leaving the center area unscored.
Use the ruler and knife to cut between the 6" and 2" partial scores, 1½" from the upper cardstock edge. Turn the cardstock and repeat the cut 1½" from the lower cardstock edge. Place the cardstock with the large panel on the right. Crease the 4" score in a valley fold. Crease both 6" and 10" scores in mountain folds. Crease the center of the 8" score in a mountain fold and the upper and lower sections in valley folds. The right full panel will be the back.
For the front: Trace and cut the front paper panel from Rhapsody white/black floral paper and cut ¼"x6" Rhapsody black paisley paper. Glue the strip to the panel, 1/8" from the left edge. Place a Dazzles™ scalloped border centered on the strip, then trim the ends even with the white paper. Glue the paper centered on the front.
Use the template to trace and cut these shapes from Rhapsody papers: a 1-story house from blue dotted paper, a 1-story roof from black paisley paper, a domed door from white dotted paper, two rounded windows and two tiny rounded windows from orange paisley paper.
Glue the roof to the house, then mat the entire house on black cardstock with 1/16" borders. Mat the windows on black paisley paper and the door on black cardstock, all with 1/32" borders. Glue to the house as shown. Place a Dazzles™ border near the roof top. Cut a circle Dazzles™ off a border and place as a doorknob.
Trace and cut a tree from Rhapsody red flowers paper and tree trunk from black dotted paper. Mat each on black cardstock with 1/16" borders, then glue the tree and house to the front as shown. Die cut a banner label from white cardstock and stamp “hello there” on it near the left end. Mat on black cardstock with 1/16" borders, trim to 1½" long, and glue as shown.
For the second panel: Trace and cut the front paper panel from Rhapsody black dotted paper and turn with the long section on the right. Place a scalloped border Dazzles™ 1/8" from the right edge, trim the ends, then glue the paper centered on the panel.
Die cut a 3½"x2 1/8" label from Rhapsody white dotted paper and stamp the frame on it. Glue centered on the second panel. Die cut a banner label from white cardstock and stamp “congrats” on it. Mat on black cardstock with 1/16" borders, then glue centered on the dotted label. Trace, cut, and mat another tree and tree trunk as for the front, then glue as shown.
For the third panel: Cut 3 7/8"x5 7/8" Rhapsody border paper with the large flower in the upper right corner. Glue centered on the panel. Trace and cut a 1-story house from Rhapsody blue dotted paper and a tiny house from blue flowered paper. Cut a 1-story roof and short roof from black paisley paper.
Place Dazzles™ borders on both roofs, near the upper edges as shown. Glue the pieces together as shown, then mat the house on black cardstock with 1/16" borders. Trace and cut a domed door, two rounded windows and three tiny rounded windows as for the front. Mat as before and glue as shown. Cut two 2 5/8" Dazzles™ borders, then glue the house and place the borders as shown. Cut a doorknob and place as before.
