Birthday Spiral Pop-Up Card
For the card front: Place the card with the fold at the top. Cut 6¼"x4¾" Color Me™ corner clock paper with a swirl and butterfly placed at the lower right. Cut out the butterfly Color Me™ tag. Place both on the craft sheet and swipe black ink over them to completely cover the paper. Wipe off the excess with paper towels. Ink the edge of the paper with copper ink and let dry completely. Glue the paper centered on the card front.
Cut two narrow 6½" long strips from the Color Me™ striped paper, following the design to determine the widths. Glue one to the front, ¾" from the upper edge. Place the gold MixEms border Dazzle™ below it with green dots in the openings. Glue the second copper strip below it. Mat the tag on cardstock with 1/16" borders. Place the Dazzles™ on it, then insert the brad at the top. Fold the ribbon in half and use tape to secure to the tag’s upper back, then glue the tag as shown.
For the inside: Cut 6½" of the border from the Color Me™ tags sheet and ink black as before. When dry, glue across the inside as shown. Cut out the butterfly label and stamp “count your age…” in black on it. Trace and cut the circle from acrylic, then begin at the outer edge and cut it into a spiral, making the strand about ¼" wide. Use tape to secure the spiral center to the border, 2" from the left end. Let the spiral lie flat on the card and place tape on the outer end. Remove the tape backing and close the card over the spiral, pressing to secure the tape to the inside front.
Glue the label to overlap the spiral center, then decorate the label with butterfly Dazzles™ as shown. Cover the outer spiral end with another butterfly Dazzle™ and place two near it. Construct two larger butterfly Dazzles™ on cardstock, cut around the edges, and use tape to secure to the spiral as shown.
