Believe Something Wonderful Chalkboard
For the chalkboard: Place strips of stencil tape on the chalkboard next to the frame to mask it. Mix two parts paint with one part water, then use the brush to apply it to the frame front and edges. Let dry, then sand the frame’s outer and inner edges. Carefully remove the tape and wipe off any dust.
Measure and mark the center of the chalkboard. Place “believe something wonderful…” Dazzles™ in the center, then place the Dazzles™ hearts and ornaments above and below the saying as shown. Place a Dazzles™ corner ornament in each chalkboard corner, then cut narrow Dazzles™ borders to fit between the corner ornaments and place them.
On the frame top edge, measure 1" in from each side and mark it. Screw an eye screw in at each mark. Attach one end of the twill to one eye screw, then, making sure the twill doesn’t twist, tie the opposite end to the other eye screw.
Punch out the Posies die cuts shown and remove the nibs. Insert a small blue brad in the body of the 1¼" butterfly die cut and flatten the prongs. Flatten the prongs in the butterfly embellie, then use clear tape to attach the flowers and butterflies to the frame as shown. Place a pearl in the center of each flower.
