Pull-Up Get Well Card
For the card: Follow Step 1 directions on the template to trace, cut, and score a main card from cardstock. Cut 4 7/8"x3 3/8" Nature’s Walk blue/green sprigs paper and glue centered on the pocket front.
Trace and cut the flap paper pattern provided in this project from Nature’s Walk burlap paper and glue centered on the flap front. Follow step 3 on the template to trace and cut the pull-up piece from cardstock, then score on the line indicated. Cut 3¾"x3¾" Nature’s Walk green sprigs paper and glue centered on the lower area of the pull-up.
Cut out the “wishing you…” sentiment and glue it centered on the pull-up panel. Rub the pull-up front and back and the pocket inside with the dryer sheet several times (this will help the pieces slide smoothly). Follow step 5 on the template to secure the pocket and pull-up section. Make sure the pull-up slides easily as you open and close the card.
Decorating the front: Punch out the die cuts shown and remove the nibs. Glue the blue/brown label die cut to the front flap, extending 1" below the flap center edge. Insert a black/rust ½" brad into the rust tag top, then foam tape it centered on the label. Cut out the “take care” greeting and mat on cardstock with 1/16" borders. Foam tape to the tag, adding extra foam tape under the ends.
Wrap ribbon around the flap near the top and tie a bow 1½" from the left edge. Place a nailhead on each end of the greeting. Foam tape the dragonfly to the lower front as shown. Color the wings with the gold glitter marker, then cover the body with Crystal Lacquer and set aside to dry completely.
