Star Triple Easel Smile Card
For the card: Fold the three card bases on the scores, creasing in mountain folds. Trace and cut the upper front paper patterns for all three card bases from Rhapsody blue floral paper. Trace and cut the lower front paper patterns for all three card bases from Rhapsody white dotted paper.
For the large base, glue the large base papers cut in step 1 centered on the front panels. Cut two 4 1/8" Dazzles™ borders and place across the upper front, 1/8" from the top. Cut 4"x5" Rhapsody black paisley paper and glue centered on the inside.
For the medium base, glue the medium base papers cut in step 1 centered on the front panels. Cut two 2 7/8" Dazzles™ borders and place across the upper front, 1/8" from the top. Cut 2¾"x3 3/8" Rhapsody black paisley paper and glue centered on the inside.
For the small base, glue the small base papers cut in step 1 centered on the front panels. Cut two 1 5/8" border Dazzles™ and place across the upper front, 1/8" from the top. Cut 1 5/8"x2" Rhapsody black paisley paper and glue centered on the inside.
Glue the card bases together as described in the card packaging. Open all the card bases. Punch out a border die cut and remove the nibs. Cut 4¼" off the end without the flowers and foam tape it along the lower inside edge. Place rhinestones on the border as shown.
For the large star: Trace and cut the large star paper pattern from Rhapsody red scallops paper. Place three Dazzles™ borders diagonally on the star in each direction, trimming the excess along the star edges. Glue the paper star centered on the die cut star.
Die cut “for” and “you” from cardstock. Punch out the Rhapsody die cuts shown and remove the nibs. Glue and foam tape all the die cuts as shown. Glue buttons to the flower centers. Knot two threads together and trim the ends, then glue the knot to the upper button. Tie a thread bow and glue to the lower button, then place the rhinestones as shown. Set aside.
For the medium star: Trace and cut the medium star paper pattern from Rhapsody blue dotted paper. Place two Dazzles™ borders across the star as shown, trimming the excess along the paper edges. Glue the paper star centered on the die cut star.
Punch out the Rhapsody die cuts shown and remove the nibs. Glue and foam tape to the star as shown. Glue a button to the flower center, then tie a thread bow and glue to the button. Place a rhinestone in the small flower center.
For the small star: Trace and cut the small star paper pattern from Rhapsody orange paper. Place three Dazzles™ borders diagonally across the star as shown, trimming the excess along the star edges. Glue the paper star centered on the die cut star. Die cut “smile” from cardstock. Punch out the small red heart die cut and remove the nibs. Glue the die cuts and a small button as shown. Tie a thread bow and glue to the button.
Assembling: Open the large and medium card bases. Glue the lower half of the small star to the small card base, aligning the edges. Close the medium card base. Glue the lower half of the medium star to the medium card base, aligning the edges and covering the small star. Close the large card base. Glue the lower half of the large star to the large card base, aligning the edges and covering the other stars. Display the card as shown in the packaging.
