Glittered Heart Birthday Card
For the card front: Trace and cut the front paper pattern (shown below) from Little Things navy pindot paper and glue it centered on the front. Cut 2 7/8"x1 3/8" Little Things tan paper and glue centered on the second step panel. Cut 2 7/8"x1 7/8" Little Things navy floral paper and glue centered on the back panel.
Cut 5 7/8"x¾" Little Things tiny floral paper and mat the long edges on white cardstock with 1/16" borders. Wrap a 6½" ribbon across it near the upper edge and glue the ends to the back. Glue the strip across the lower front as shown.
Die cut a heart from white cardstock and follow the directions above to heat emboss it with Calypso embossing powder. Glue to the front, tucking it under the ribbon and letting it extend off the right edge as shown.
Die cut and emboss two open roses as for the heart. Glue one to the front at the right edge and the second on the back step, extending above the edge as shown.
Make a 4-loop bow and tie the center with thread. Glue to the first ribbon, 1½" from the left edge, then glue a flower shaped blue button to the bow center. Hold two threads together and knot in the center. Trim the ends, then glue the knot to the button.
Die cut a 1¾"x1 1/8" label from Little Things pink paper and stamp “just for you” on it with Jet Black ink. Mat on navy cardstock with 1/16" borders, then glue to the second step, extending above the edge as shown. Glue a pearl on each end of the label, then place butterfly Dazzles™ as shown, using glue to attach them to the embossed surface.
For the inside: Cut 2 7/8"x4 7/8" Little Things tiny floral paper and mat on red cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue to the inside along the left edge. Die cut a heart from red cardstock and emboss it with Red Glitz embossing powder. Glue to the floral paper extending off the left edge, then trim the excess.
