Miss You Cactus Card
For the card front: Place the card with the fold at the top. Cut 6 3/8"x4 7/8" Rooted In Love lacy border paper with the border along the left edge. Cut 6" each of pink and turquoise grosgrain ribbon and wrap both over the left end as shown, gluing the ends at the back. Glue the paper centered on the card front.
Cut 4 5/8"x3½" white cardstock. Cut the cactus off one of the small pots, then place the empty pot and cactus Dazzles™ across the cardstock as shown. Color the images with Spectrum Noir pens: I used BT4 for the large cacti and shaded them with BT5. I colored the smaller cacti first with CT1, then used BT4 and BT5 on top.
Color the pots with OR1, then use PP5 on top and shade with a second layer of PP5. Use BP6 for the decorations on the pots, and the flower on the right cactus. Use BG1 and BG2 to color the ground around the pots.
Mat the colored image on pink cardstock with 1/16" borders, then on gray cardstock with 1/8" borders. Glue it to the card front ½" from the right edge, slipping it under the ribbons. Place “miss you” Dazzles™ above the cacti as shown.
Place three individual flower Dazzles™ on white cardstock, cut out each, and color with BP6 and GB5. Attach the colored flowers with double-sided tape and place small flower Dazzles™ on and around the cacti as shown.
Cut 3" each of turquoise and pink grosgrain ribbons and tie a knot in the center of each, then trim the ribbon ends. Use double-sided tape to attach the knots to the first ribbons as shown. Decorate the flowers with jewel Dazzles™.
For the inside: Cut 6½"x2¼" Rooted In Love green/tan zigzag paper and mat the long edges on green cardstock with 1/16" borders. Mat the long edges again on Rooted In Love tan marble paper with 3/8" borders.
Wrap a 7" tan crepe ribbon across the zigzag paper ¾" from the upper edge and glue the ends to the back. Glue the paper to the inside center. Tie a 4" crepe ribbon onto the first ribbon 1¼" from the left edge and trim the ends.
Cut 3 3/8"x3¾" white cardstock and place cactus Dazzles™ on it as shown. Color the Dazzles™ and ground as before. Place “happy healing” Dazzles™ at the upper left.
