Tree & Hearts
Card front: Place your card with the fold on the left. Cover card with Chalkboard chalked patterned paper. Ink the edges, heavier in the corners. Cut and glue a 2¾"x6” Chalkboard white polka dot patterned paper strip vertically 3/8” from left. Cut 4¾"x2½” Chalkboard pink patterned paper, and cut a “V” from one end. Glue even with the left side and ¾" from bottom. Use a cosmetic sponge to ink the edges with Black ink. Zot™ Chalkboard ivory twill ribbon vertically centered onto the white polka dot patterned paper. Zot™ a bow ½” from top as shown.
Using the heart from Four Seasons Tree cutting die, and the Chalkboard pink patterned paper, cut out 10 hearts and set aside. Using 4 Circles and Scallops cutting die cut a large scallop from Chalkboard teal patterned paper. Next use the large circle cutting die to cut a circle from Chalkboard ivory patterned paper. Cut out the Four Seasons tree from the Chalkboard chalked patterned paper and glue to the ivory circle as shown. Trim even with the circle edges. Glue onto the teal scallop. Foam tape to the card front even with the left side and 1½” from the top. Apply Crystal Lacquer over the tree and let it dry completely. Glue 2 hearts hanging from the branches and Zot™ Ivory Blossoms to the card as shown.
Card inside: Cut 4¾"x6¼”Chalkboard chalked patterned paper and ink the edges. Glue centered. Glue 4¼”x6” Chalkboard pink patterned paper centered. Cut 3¾"x5”Chalkboard ivory patterned paper. Using the Four Seasons Tree cutting die, cut a tree from any left over scrap. Hold the tree down and sponge Aquamarine Chalk ink over the image. Discard the tree. Glue ¼” from the top leaving a 1” border on the sides. Cut and glue 4¾"x1/4” Chalkboard white polka dot patterned paper horizontally 1¼” from the bottom. Cut out “Home is Wherever You are” from the Chalkboard sentiments patterned paper. Foam tape it ½” from the right and ¼” from the bottom. Glue the 10 small hearts from step one, onto the tree as shown. Add Crystal Lacquer to the hearts and let dry.
