Place your card with the fold at the left. Ink the edges of the card black. Cut a 4 5/8”x6 1/8” blue transparent rectangle and place it centered on the card. Use a few pieces of double- sided adhesive to secure it to the card near the center.
Cut a 4”x4 1/2" each from white cardstock and double-sided adhesive. Peel one side of the backing from the double-sided adhesive and place it on the white cardstock, aligning the edges. Set it aside for a moment.
Use the Fancy Lattice Cutting Die and your die cutting machine to cut the shape from black cardstock. Place the black lattice frame centered on the double-sided adhesive/white cardstock. Now, die cut the fancy lattice shape using each color of the transparent sheets (red, orange, yellow, green, blue), this time saving the inner pieces instead of the frame (you will probably need to use extra cardstock or paper to shim). Place the inner pieces inside the die cut frame on the adhesive, alternating colors. When finished, add baby powder to the outer edges of exposed adhesive. Mat on black cardstock with 1/8” borders. Secure on the card with double-sided adhesive, centered 1/4” from the top of the blue transparent rectangle.
Place Flowers & Lace Dazzles™ border on the top and bottom edges of the blue transparent rectangle, trimming edges evenly. Take a Dazzles™ flowers/leaves/swirls cluster and place the large center flower on a red transparent sheet. Trim around the edges of the flower. Repeat for the small flowers with a yellow transparent sheet, and for the leaves with a green transparent sheet. Back the colored areas with white cardstock and trim edges evenly. Glue onto the lower left corner of the card as shown. Ink the Greetings Dazzles™ “Hello” black, then place on the lower right blue portion of the card. Add a small butterfly near the word.
Inside: Cut a 3”x2 1/4" blue transparent rectangle. Place Flowers & Lace Dazzles™ border on the bottom edge, trimming sides evenly. Back the small flower on “DAY” with red transparent material, then white cardstock. Place “Beautiful DAY” centered on the blue rectangle. Place adhesive on the back of the words and place it centered on the card. Back a small flower cluster with colored transparent material and white cardstock as for the front. Glue on the lower left edge of the blue rectangle. Place a small butterfly between the words and the flower cluster as shown.
