Bordered Birthday Swing Card
For the card: Trace the paper patterns found in the card packaging. Cut the front paper pattern from Midnight Jewels purple tapestry paper and glue it centered to the front panel. Open the card.
Cut the spine paper pattern from Midnight Jewels green paper and glue it centered to the spine. Cut the right card panel from Midnight Jewels purple medallion paper and glue it centered on the right panel.
Place the 1" and ½" gold engraved border Dazzles™ shown on Midnight Jewel purple textured paper, then trim the paper close to the border edges. Mat both borders on lavender cardstock with 1/16" borders.
Cut each border into one 2 3/8", one 7/8", and one 3 3/8" length. Glue the narrow border pieces to the appropriate panel papers near the upper edges as shown. Glue the wider border pieces across the panel papers near the lower edges as shown. Close the card.
Cut the front label paper pattern from Midnight Jewels purple textured paper and glue it centered on the label front. Place gold “Happy Birthday” Dazzles™ on the label near the center top, then place two gold candles below it. Cut a right-facing foiled butterfly from the sheet and trim off the tabs. Use double-sided tape on the body and foam tape under the wings to attach it to the front as shown.
For the inside: Open the card. Cut the inside label paper pattern from Midnight Jewels purple textured paper and glue it centered on the inside label. Place gold “may all your wishes come true!” Dazzles™ on the label with a small gold star Dazzles™ on each side.
Cut the spine paper pattern from Midnight Jewels green paper and glue it centered to the spine. Cut the right card panel from Midnight Jewels purple medallion paper and glue it centered on the right panel.
