Blue Persuasion Twisted Easel Birthday Card
For the card front: Follow the card package directions to crease the scores on the card base. Open it and cut off the left front panel. Cut 3 5/8"x3 5/8" Blue Persuasion roses paper, then cut it in half diagonally from the upper left to the lower right. Use the glue stick to glue a doily over the upper right corner of the top triangle, then trim off the excess. Glue both triangles centered on the card front panels.
Cut out the Blue Persuasion rose square cut-out and mat it on Gold paper with 1/16" borders. Place it centered on the front, then glue it just to the lower front triangle panel, making sure the writing on the cut-out will be horizontal when the front is propped open. Glue four Doo Dadz to the cut-out as shown.
For the inside: Cut 7¾"x3¾" Blue Persuasion light blue border paper with flowers along the bottom. Glue a doily extending up from the lower left corner, trimming off the excess. Glue the paper centered on the inside.
Cut out the Blue Persuasion border cut-out, leaving 1/16" white edges on it. Mat the long edges on Gold paper with 1/8" borders, then glue it across the inside, ¾" from the bottom. Trim off the excess.
Cut out the Blue Persuasion “let’s celebrate you” and “happy birthday” cutouts. Mat both on Gold paper with 1/16" borders. Glue “let’s celebrate…” ½" from the left edge and “happy birthday” slightly overlapping it and the border.
Cut out the Blue Persuasion rose square cut-out and mat it on Gold paper with 1/16" borders. Place it centered on the front, then glue it just to the lower front triangle panel, making sure the writing on the cut-out will be horizontal when the front is propped open. Glue four Doo Dadz to the cut-out as shown.
