Luscious Lace & Butterflies Birthday Card

Instructions:

1. For the card front: Cut 5"x6½" Luscious Lace green/blue corner design cardstock with the lace in the lower left corner. Ink the green edges with Shamrock and the aqua edges with Teal. Tear a 2"x6" strip of vellum and place it across the cardstock, ⅝" from the bottom, wrapping and gluing the ends to the back.

2. Die cut two lace strips from dark blue solid cardstock, then use Sticky Specks to glue them across the vellum strip, overlapping the straight edges as shown. Trim off the excess lace. Wrap two lime jute strands over the center of the lace strips, securing the ends to the cardstock back. Glue the cardstock to the blank card front.

3. Make a 6-loop bow with lime jute, tying the center with another lime strand. Glue the bow to the lace strips as shown. Foam tape the Luscious Lace “thinking of you” die-cut to the upper right and place the three butterfly Dazzles™ as shown. Glue Crystalz to the butterflies

4. For the inside: Cut 4"x5¼" Luscious Lace teal/green faded lace cardstock and ink the edges as before. Glue it centered on the inside. Tear a ⅞"x6" vellum strip and glue it ¾” from the card’s fold, placing glue just behind the right side. Glue the two Luscious Lace cutouts as shown. Place two small butterfly Dazzles™ as shown and glue Crystalz on the wings.
