Grove Butterfly Hi Card
Instructions:
1. For the card front: Place the card with the fold at the top. Cut 6¼"x4¾" Grove green leaves cardstock with the leaves on the left end. Transfer a 3¼" branch rub-on to the cardstock, extending from the lower left corner. Turn the remainder of the same cardstock over and cut 1¾"x4¾" from it. Mat the left long edge on gold cardstock with a ⅛" border, then glue the strip on the left end of the first cardstock.
2. Wrap gold satin ribbon across the green strip as shown, gluing the ends to the back. Tie a second ribbon onto the first near the bottom, then mat the entire cardstock on gold cardstock with ⅛" borders. Glue it centered on the card front.
3. Cut 4¾" of the light green braid laser cut and glue it near the right edge of the green cardstock. Place three gold thin line Dazzles™ on the green strip as shown, trimming the excess. Use sticky tape to attach two acetate leaf branches extending up from the lower left front corner.
4. Bend the wings upward slightly on a 1¾" and on a 3" acetate butterfly, then use sticky tape to attach them to the front as shown. Place three gold pearls on the body of each butterfly. Place gold “hi” Dazzles™ as shown.
5. For the inside: Cut 5½"x4" white cardstock. Cut various strips from the Grove collection, ½"-1¾" wide. Use 2-sided tape to attach them angled across the white cardstock as shown, butting the edges together. Trim off any excess along the edges of the white cardstock.
6. Glue the text strip element over the edges of two strips, then place gold thin line Dazzles™ across the constructed piece, covering edges and trimming any excess. Mat the piece on gold cardstock with ⅛" borders.
7. Glue a green half-doily element 1" from the top edge, then wrap gold satin ribbon across the cardstocks, covering the top edge of the doily. Glue the cardstocks centered on the inside. Trim the tied strings element to fit across the cardstocks as shown, then glue it in place. Foam tape two butterfly elements and place gold “love you” Dazzles™ as shown.
